PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE & PERSONAL ASSISTANT

ANDRÁS SZÁNTÓ LLC seeking a highly organized assistant to support operations and provide PA services to the founder. This entry-level role is ideal for a passionate, motivated individual with an interest in art and some experience working in arts administration and/or as a personal assistant, ideally with familiarity with New York City.
ANDRÁS SZÁNTÓ LLC is a consulting firm specializing in cultural strategy and program development for museums, foundations, educational institutions, and corporations worldwide. It's founder and principal, András Szántó, is a widely published author and editor, and a frequent moderator of key conversations about museums, cultural strategy, and the shifting dynamics of the art world. His most recent book, The Future of the Museum: 28 Dialogues, was written at the beginning of the pandemic in the spring and summer of 2020 and published in January of 2021. Szántó runs his consultancy from a home office in Brooklyn. He travels frequently, up to a week a month during non-pandemic times, both domestically and internationally. His large roster of projects ranges from strategically advising on a museum's long-term plan to counseling individual artists, to working on large-scale commissions, prizes, or other initiatives for corporations, art fairs, educational institutions, and entrepreneurs in the art space.

We are seeking a highly organized part-time Administrative & Personal Assistant to support operations and provide PA services to the founder. This entry-level role is ideal for a passionate, motivated individual with an interest in art and some experience working in arts administration and/or as a personal assistant, ideally with familiarity with New York City.

This role will begin as soon as possible in late February 2022 for a period of at least 3 months with the possibility to extend. This is a contract role that will require a commitment of a minimum of 8 hours/week paid $20-25 per hour based on experience. Ideally these hours will be worked across multiple days of the week. ASLLC currently operates in a hybrid model; expect to occasionally work from the ASLLC office.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee calendar of meetings and events, scheduling appointments, prioritizing meeting requests
• Manage organizational system for paper and digital files
• Coordinate business trips with travel agent and track and log travel expenses
• Be available and respond to PA support needs, including sundry errands
• Use project management tool to keep track of deadlines and dates
• Troubleshoot computer issues, liaise with IT regarding technology needs
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and office supplies
• Information gathering and client research, as needed
