Museum Initiative András Szántó LLC completes strategic plan for Clyfford Still Museum
December 2025
We completed a strategic plan for the Denver-based Clyfford Still Museum. The result of one of the most extraordinary acts of generosity by an artist, which saw Still’s almost complete oeuvre donated to a city that would erect a museum for it, the museum will focus its next five years on broadening its reach, advancing scholarship, and strengthening operations. The plan developed new positioning statements for the museum and, through deliberations with staff, board, internal and external stakeholders, mapped out an ambitious next chapter of the museum as an important part of Denver’s vibrant cultural ecology. Among the highlights: the completion of a catalogue raisonné and the containing growth of The Clyfford Still Institute.

The first series, focusing on TIME, kicked off in the fall of 2026.
